Hoffman Plumbing is Proud to Support Toys for Tots

At Hoffman Plumbing, we believe that every child deserves to have a happy holiday season filled with joy and laughter. That’s why this year, we are proud to support and collect toys for our local Marine Toys for Tots program through December 19th. We know that many families in our community struggle financially and can't afford to provide gifts for their children at Christmastime. By donating a toy or two to this worthy cause, you can help make sure those families have something special under the tree on Christmas morning.

 

Times can be tight right now, but even a small gift like legos or a game can make someone's day brighter. If you're able to spare a monetary donation or a toy – no matter how big or small – please consider dropping it off at our office in Gardnerville at 1517 Church Street.  Every little bit helps, and all the contributions will stay right here in our Carson City, Douglas County, Storey County, and West Lyon County Nevada community!

 

Joe Ortiz, Owner of Hoffman Plumbing said, “as a father, it's especially important to me to support causes like Toys for Tots that help ensure all children have the opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas."  Ortiz continued, "I know that running a program as wide-reaching as Toys for Tots has costs, to help alleviate some of their operating expenses and to help make sure as much money as possible gets passed along to the children, in addition to financial support, we have donated roll off dumpsters to be used for warehouse operations through our sister company Hoffman Dumpsters. This holiday season, I hope we can all band together and make a real difference in our community by donating to this worthy cause."

The 2022 holiday season marks the 75th anniversary of the national Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. For over seven decades, the Program has evolved and grown exponentially having delivered hope and the magic of Christmas to over 281 million less fortunate children.
